The MC Licence course with Core Truck Driving School runs 7 Days per week and can be arranged at your suitable times and dates. Our team here at Core knows how valuable time is to our clients therefor we are happy to work around the clock to suit your schedule.

Our courses for the MC Licence last at least 1 day, depending what current licence you hold. If you hold an HR Licence it would be a min 2 day course, if you hold an HC licence it would than be a min 1 day course.

The MC Licence heavy vehicle course in NSW is conducted under the Heavy Vehicle Competency Based Assessment (HVCBA) scheme, this information will guide you obtaining your MC Licence or any other heavy vehicle driver licence under HVCBA.

Under the Heavy Vehicle Competency Based Assessment (HVCBA) you will be given credit for the skills that are performed correctly during your MC Licence course (called criteria). Once all MC licence criteria’s have been recorded as competent and completed, than you can undertake the final competency assessment (FCA). Once passed the MC Licence FCA you would be issued a Certificate of Competency (COC) that you would need to present to the Transport NSW for your licence upgrade.

At Core we adhere to the Transport RMS code of Conduct, the code of conduct for Heavy Vehicle Competency Based Assessment. All our Heavy Vehicle Training Courses are performed in regards to safety.

MC Licence is the highest class of licence you can hold in Australia in regards to heavy vehicles, and it would allow you to drive Road Trains as well. All Applicants must be trained and assessed according to HVCBA standards and procedures. This industry standards are issued to us by the Roads and Maritime (RMS) to Registered Training Organisations (providers) that have been accredited by RMS to conduct training and assessment of applicants for heavy vehicle licences.

Under the Accreditation agreement, each RTO/Provider is required to:
– comply with the standards of behaviour set out in the Code of Conduct; and ensure that any assessor engaged by it also comply with the standards of behaviour set out in the Code of Conduct.

Core Driving School is an innovative provider for all Heavy Vehicle competency based training and assessments as well as Forklift Training and Bus Driver Authority Licences. Our main depot is based in Wetherill Park Sydney’s west, however we do commute and cover truck driver training in Newcastle, Central Coast, Penrith, Campbelltown, Blue Mountains and Wollongong area.
